ECO Friendly

We built with a focus on quality and functionality for families BTL Group is designing a house that has energy efficiency needs and is environmentally friendly. We are using as many natural resources as possible in our eco friendly houses to reduce the amount of carbon emission (heat and energy) that a house owner would need to generate. We achieve this by

  • Using WELS (The Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards) Standard appliances like showers, dishwashers, tap equipment to help clients to save money on their water and energy bills by choosing these water-efficient products.
  • Using sustainable items such as Solar Panels, and Double-Glazing Windows.

Solar energy is sustainable energy and is inherently more sustainable than fossil fuel energy sources. As a way of converting the sun’s energy into electrical energy, solar panels make use of the single most sustainable resource on the planet – the light of the sun.

Double Glazing Window is two layers of glass with insulating gas trapped in Between them. Not only does this act as a shield against cold weather, but it also means you use less heating, which in turn reduces your energy bills while helping the planet.

  • All the ducted Inverter Technology Air Conditioning systems that we are using are rated A for efficiency, and automatically far more environmentally friendly.
  • We do everything in our power to be as green as we can. We use LED Downlights that are eco-friendly and energy-efficient.
  • If you are keen on using sustainable flooring materials;

    ✓ There are few types of Carpets that have less impact on the environment.

    Laminate meets the eco-friendly criteria according to LEED standards because the flooring is comprised of recycled content. From the way laminate flooring is manufactured to the way it is cleaned, installing laminate in your home is the perfect way to create a cleaner, greener living space.

    Engineered Wood Flooring consists mostly of sustainable plantation plywood, and as such they are more earth-friendly than solid flooring.

  • Dulux is a Quick Dry water-based paint that helps take the hard work out of decorating and the bold ambition is having low-tox paints to radically reduce (Volatile organic compounds) emissions across the product portfolio.
  • Polymax Insulation which we use is made from up to 80% recycled plastics and is 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly. Polymax Insulation can be installed into the walls and ceiling of your new home for maximum thermal and acoustic performance.
  • The Gyprock Plasterboards which use are manufactured from the most sustainable sources of gypsum available. These gyprocks made of 100% recycled paper liners. FGD (Flue gas desulfurization) gypsum is a by-product derived when removing sulfur dioxide gas emissions from electric power plants.

The Concrete (Cement) made from recycled plastic and waste raw materials enabling us to minimize the environmental impact of concrete. Environmental benefits of building with plastic concrete are:

  • Less landfill
  • Lower carbon emissions
  • Water savings
